Consulting for organisations

HR, teams, services and projects. A clear mandate, practical delivery.

For SMEs and selected organisations that need experienced external support with recruitment, team management and training services, or with the delivery of a defined project or service. The contribution can be advisory, hands-on, interim or fractional, according to the agreed scope.

Scope of work

Four areas of support, with clear responsibilities from the outset.

Each engagement starts from a concrete organisational need and a defined scope.

01

HR & recruitment

Support for better hiring decisions and more consistent recruitment processes, from role definition to early alignment after hire.

  • Role profiles and selection criteria
  • Candidate search and assessment
  • Structured interviews
  • Onboarding and recruitment-process review
02

Teams & training services

Clearer coordination for teams and training services when roles, priorities, suppliers or delivery routines need to be brought back into alignment.

  • Roles, priorities and workloads
  • Onboarding and escalation paths
  • Training needs, audiences and objectives
  • Service coordination, suppliers and follow-up
03

Projects & services

Structured support for work that must move across functions, dependencies and stakeholders while protecting service continuity.

  • Scope, planning and governance
  • Risks, dependencies and decisions
  • SLAs, KPIs and service continuity
  • Stakeholder and issue management
04

Interim & fractional management

Temporary or part-time managerial capacity for a defined need, with explicit authority, outcomes, cadence and handover.

  • Interim responsibility for a transition or priority
  • Fractional support on a recurring part-time basis
  • Operational leadership within an agreed scope
  • Reporting, knowledge transfer and exit criteria

* Specialist legal, employment-law, tax or technical matters remain with the appropriately qualified professional.

Mandate before activity

The assignment starts with a clear scope.

Before accepting an assignment, we clarify what must change, who decides, what access is needed and how progress will be judged. This prevents consulting from becoming vague and operational support from becoming open-ended.

Assignments that require confidentiality can be supported by a non-disclosure agreement agreed before confidential material is shared.

Ways of working

Online by default; in person when the assignment calls for it.

Online worldwide

Suitable for focused advisory work, interviews, document review, governance discussions and many project or service-management activities.

In-house internationally

Available for selected assignments where direct observation, team dynamics, sensitive context or an intensive on-site phase materially improve the work. Scope, location and travel feasibility are assessed first.

Practical questions

Before describing an assignment.

What is the difference between interim and fractional management?

Interim management usually covers a temporary managerial need for a transition, priority or gap. Fractional management provides recurring part-time capacity. In both cases, authority, expected outcomes, cadence, duration and handover are agreed before work begins.

Is this also the page for CV and interview support?

No. CV positioning, interview preparation and career decisions for individuals follow a separate path on the main site. This page is for assignments commissioned by companies or organisations.

Can the work be operational as well as advisory?

Yes, for selected assignments. The contribution may range from analysis and decision support to hands-on coordination, provided the mandate, access, decision rights and responsibilities are explicit.

Can we begin with a smaller diagnostic phase?

Yes. When the scope is not yet clear, the first phase can focus on interviews, available evidence, stakeholders, risks and options, ending with a concise recommendation on whether and how to proceed.

Start with the mandate

Describe the assignment, not a generic need for consulting.

A few lines on the objective, current situation, stakeholders, timing and expected contribution are enough for an initial assessment.
