Communication, in context
The Italian used over dinner is not the Italian of an interview, negotiation or boardroom. Vocabulary is only part of it: tone, register and cultural cues also shape the result. We prepare for the situation where you will use the language.
01 | Italian Coaching
Each session starts with the message, the people involved and the impression you need to create.
My coaching work spans every organisational level, from junior professionals to managers, executives and C-level decision-makers.
For everyday life, relationships, travel, relocation and the conversations that make Italy feel less foreign.
Professional communication inside real organisations, informed by direct experience rather than a vocabulary list.
Preparation that treats a mock interview as a professional interaction, with language and positioning considered together.
More range, same identity.
In your own language, you know how to be precise, funny, diplomatic, persuasive or direct. Some of that range can disappear in another language. The aim is to recover it through better language, cultural context and active practice.
Professional context
I have worked with SMEs, independent professionals and highly specialised advisers, including corporate lawyers and accountants, to prepare important meetings. Together we have also developed scenarios for expansion and entry into new markets, bringing business substance, stakeholders and communication into the same conversation.
02 | HR & Career Consulting
For professionals, the work can cover positioning, interviews and job search. For companies, it can cover recruiting and candidate assessment.
01
Clarify what you offer, how to present it and what to do next.
02
Practical HR and recruitment support when an experienced external perspective can improve the quality of a decision or process.
No promises of jobs or interview outcomes. The work focuses on better decisions, stronger preparation and clearer communication.
Discuss my situation03 | Management & Project Support
For selected corporate assignments, I work alongside leaders and organisations on clearly scoped managerial needs. The contribution can be advisory or hands-on, depending on the mandate.
Discuss a managerial assignmentRole clarity, priorities, workloads, onboarding, escalation paths and practical coordination routines.
Service standards, KPIs, continuity, stakeholder alignment, issue management and customer focus.
Scope, planning, governance, dependencies, risks, decisions and communication needed to keep delivery moving.
Applied experience
Management of multi-site contracts and services within a large national organisation employing thousands of people: up to 100 operational staff coordinated across 40 sites, with oversight of SLAs and KPIs, service continuity, escalations and coordination across clients, corporate functions, and internal and external service providers.Selected sectors and operating contexts
Before work begins, we agree the objective, decision authority, key stakeholders, timing and what I am responsible for.
Selected methodology and credentials
My methodological path began with predictive project management and UNI/ISO standards, then expanded into Agile, service management and HR, complemented by continued development in negotiation and stakeholder communication. The approach is selected to fit the context, not the other way around.
NDA & confidentiality
For managers, executives, C-level leaders and business clients, selected engagements can be supported by a non-disclosure agreement. This creates an additional contractual safeguard around confidential information, internal discussions and legitimate business interests.
The appropriate scope and form of the NDA are agreed before confidential material is shared.

I worked with Claudio on the relocation of my company from Belgium to Italy. He has been, and continues to be, a trusted partner, able to quickly understand my needs and connect them with both my personal and business objectives.
He supported me discreetly in identifying and managing Italian stakeholders, and also joined me during meetings that were crucial to the future of the company. He also quickly identified a potential inefficiency in the location initially under consideration, helping me explore alternatives that were better aligned with my needs.
He works independently, involving me only when genuinely necessary.

International perspective
Extensive direct interaction with English and Spanish speakers has made intercultural differences easier to spot. A sentence can be grammatically correct and still sound unnatural in Italy. Knowing why saves time.
English or Spanish can be used strategically when a quick explanation makes an Italian concept clearer.
How I work
Your objective, personality, role, industry and current level matter.
Use conversation, simulations, role-play, interview questions and real documents.
Correct what matters, explain why and avoid abstract theory when it does not help.
Start with what is correct, then refine what sounds natural and appropriate in Italy.

I'm Claudio, an Italian Coach and HR professional based in Milan. I bring 20 years across Human Resources, recruiting, management, consulting, finance, projects and services, supported by advanced professional training in HR management, project management, Agile delivery, service management and negotiation.
I separate facts from interpretations and consider both the individual's perspective and the organisation's constraints. I look for misalignment between roles, processes, accountability and incentives, then map stakeholders, risks and options to turn them into usable decisions and actions before an issue becomes inefficiency, conflict or operational risk. The same principle applies to language: the right words are not enough without role, culture and relationship.

FAQ
We start from what you actually need to do in Italian. A conversation with neighbours, a management meeting and a job interview require different language, register and cultural judgement. Grammar and pronunciation are addressed where they improve the outcome, not as disconnected exercises.
Yes, provided the objective is concrete. A beginner may need a reliable base for daily life in Italy. An advanced speaker may need precision, natural phrasing or greater authority at work. The starting level changes the route, not the seriousness of the work.
Business Italian is not simply a longer vocabulary list. It involves hierarchy, tone, meeting dynamics, written communication and the ability to make a point without sounding abrupt or vague. Real professional context is built into the practice.
Yes. The CV is considered through the eyes of its intended reader: relevance, evidence, positioning and clarity. Interview work then tests how you explain choices, results and difficult moments under realistic questioning, in Italian or as a separate career assignment.
Selected assignments may involve team coordination, service organisation or project delivery. Before accepting an engagement, I clarify the mandate, decision rights, stakeholders, expected output and reporting rhythm. That prevents advisory work from becoming vague and operational work from becoming unbounded.
We start with a real meeting, decision or project. I clarify the objective, stakeholders, interests, constraints, evidence and objections; then we work on the structure of the scenario, the argument and the communication. Where legal, tax or highly technical matters are involved, my contribution works alongside the relevant specialist.
Online is the standard format and works well for focused coaching, advisory work, document review and many project discussions. It is available internationally and is treated as the normal professional delivery model, not a reduced version of the service.
It can make sense when the work depends on direct observation, a team setting, sensitive organisational context or an intensive on-site format. International availability is assessed case by case according to scope, location, schedule and travel feasibility. A custom proposal is prepared after the request is reviewed.
Yes. The working language is chosen for the objective. In Italian coaching, English or Spanish can be used selectively to explain a distinction faster, while keeping active Italian practice at the centre.
